Article Unsettled Grounds, Enduring Bonds: A Literature Review on Employee Engagement during Organizational Change(Routledge Journals, Taylor & Francis Ltd, 2026) Abbas, Alhamzah F.; Ahmed, Ayesha; Usman, Muhammad; Shah, Syed Haider AliThis systematic review critically examines how employee engagement is conceptualized and operationalized within the context of organizational change, aiming to uncover prevailing themes, highlight conceptual inconsistencies, and identify gaps in the literature to advance understanding in evolving organizational settings. Guided by the the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA framework, the study analyzes 29 peer-reviewed journal articles published between 2006 and 2025, retrieved from the Scopus database, employing thematic synthesis and citation mapping to explore both organizational and individual-level influences on engagement during change. The findings reveal a dual-level framework: at the organizational level, leadership, organizational support, communication, and cultural and contextual dynamics play a central role, while at the individual level, psychological and emotional factors, behavioral patterns, attitudes toward change, and opportunities for skill development and career progression are key drivers. This review contributes by clarifying conceptual boundaries, identifying underexplored dimensions, and providing actionable insights for leaders and HR practitioners to sustain and enhance employee engagement during periods of organizational transition.Article Driving Sustainability and Sustainable Developmental Goals in Hospitality: The Influence of Green HRM, Environmental CSR and Shared Green Vision on Pro-Environmental Behaviour(Wiley, 2026) Rafiq, Nosheen; Bulbul, Yagiz Efe; Cobanoglu, Cihan; Shah, Syed Haider Ali; Raza, GulzaibEnvironmental sustainability is highly dependent on the employees' pro-environmental behaviour (PEB) particularly in the hospitality industry context, yet there is still a gap of explanation on mechanisms that systematically improve employees' PEB. Based on Social Identity Theory, this study attempts to examine how green human resource management (GHRM) practices influence employees' PEB in two paths, directly and indirectly, through dual mediating mechanisms: environmental corporate social responsibility (ECSR) and green shared vision (GSV). Using a quantitative design, the study data were collected from 449 hotel managers through a structured questionnaire and analyzed with SmartPLS (SEM). The results show that GHRM has a significant positive effect on PEB and also through indirect effects of both ECSR and GSV. Further, the model explains the substantial amount of variance in PEB. The effect size reveals that indirect pathways are stronger mechanisms than the direct path from GHRM to PEB. Through bringing together the collective cognitive and identity based aspects into one framework, this study extends the theoretical understanding of mechanisms of how GHRM transform sustainability strategies into employee level environmental engagement, which is also aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This study further investigates the mediating role of knowledge integration (KNI) and the moderating effect of digital capabilities (DIC) in these relationships. Data were collected from 442 top-level managers working in high-tech manufacturing industries in Guangdong Province, China, and were analyzed using partial least squares structural equation modeling. The empirical findings suggest that both AI-driven circular transformation and SEO have a positive influence on SES. Moreover, KNI is found to significantly mediate the relationships between AIdriven circular transformation, SEO, and SES. Additionally, DIC positively moderate the relationship between KNI and SES. Furthermore, this study offers implications for managers and policymakers seeking to promote sustainable entrepreneurship. The results highlight the importance of integrating AI-enabled circular practices with socially oriented entrepreneurial strategies to enhance long-term entrepreneurial outcomes. Finally, the results suggest that investments in DIC and effective KNI mechanisms can strengthen firms' dynamic capabilities, thereby supporting sustainability-oriented innovation and entrepreneurial success.Article Citation - WoS: 2Citation - Scopus: 2Depositional Model, Cyclicity, and Hydrocarbon Potential of the Eocene Sakesar Carbonate Ramp, Salt Range, Pakistan(Springer, 2026-02-02) Shah, Syed Bilawal Ali; Shah, Syed Haider AliThe Sakesar Formation in the Salt Range, Pakistan, represents a well-developed Eocene carbonate ramp deposited along the southern Tethyan margin. This study integrates petrographic analysis, palynofacies evaluation, organic geochemical measurements and sequence stratigraphic interpretation to characterise the depositional environments, diagenetic evolution, and petroleum system potential of the formation. Six microfacies (MF1-MF6) were identified through thin-section petrography ranging from high-energy shoal grainstones to low-energy lagoonal marls. Quantitative palynofacies analysis shows energy dependent trends in organic matter composition, with shoal facies dominated by opaque phytoclasts and lagoonal facies enriched in amorphous organic matter (AOM). Organic geochemical measurements including Total Organic Carbon (TOC), Hydrogen Index (HI), Oxygen Index (OI), and Rock-Eval pyrolysis parameters, combined with vitrinite reflectance (Ro) data, indicate that lagoonal marl-micrite facies (MF6) contain Type II kerogen with the highest TOC values (2.80%), elevated HI (293 mg hydrocarbons per gram TOC), and peak oil-window maturity (0.72% Ro). These attributes identify MF6 as the primary oil-prone source rock. Mid-ramp wackestones and packstones (MF3-MF4) possess moderate generative potential and serve as internal seals or baffles, whereas high-energy shoal facies (MF1-MF2) show favourable reservoir characteristics but limited source potential. Sequence-stratigraphic analysis demonstrates that maximum flooding surfaces (MFS) frequently coincide with organic-rich MF6 intervals, producing predictable vertical stacking of source, seal, and reservoir units at parasequence scale. The integrated petrographic, palynofacies, and geochemical framework confirms the dual role of the Sakesar Formation as both a reservoir and a source-seal interval, with metre-scale cyclicity enhancing hydrocarbon charge and trapping efficiency. These findings refine the depositional and petroleum system model of the Sakesar carbonate ramp and provide valuable predictive analogues for Eocene carbonate exploration within the Himalayan foreland basin and related Tethyan settings.
