En ileri düzeyde araştırmalar için gerekli olan gelişmiş bir lisansüstü eğitim üzerinde önemle durulmakta ve araştırmalar günümüzün hızla büyüyen alanları üzerine odaklanmıştır. Bunlar: optik, fotonik, nanoteknoloji, biyomedikal ve biyoenformatik, bilgi ve haberleşme teknolojisi, güç sistemleri mühendisliği, enerji, kontrol ve otomasyondur.
